267 MILLION FACEBOOK USER’S DATA WAS SELLING IN DARKNET FOR 500 EUROS

Cyble Company, a specialist in information security, has discovered 267 million Facebook users stolen data.

They were offered for sale for only 500 euros. Cyble purchased this data for security purposes. The database contains names, email addresses, phone numbers, and some other users’ information. This may be enough for phishing attackers or phishing emails to steal passwords or other information.

The cause of the data leakage is called API vulnerability or hacking. Last November, Facebook reported that at least 100 app developers had been able to access Facebook users’ data for months.
