IN INDIA THROUGHOUT QUARANTINE THE AIR CLEANSES THAT HUMAN IN HE PUNJAB STATE SEE MOUNTAINS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 30 YEARS

In India, during the quarantine period, air pollution has decreased so much that residents of the northern state of Punjab saw the Himalayan mountain range for the first time in 30 years.

The Himalayas are more than 100 kilometers from the state of Punjab. This was made possible by the dramatic improvement in air quality in recent weeks after industrial enterprises stopped operating, cars cleared roads and airlines canceled flights due to a coronavirus pandemic.

According to India’s Department of Environmental Pollution, PM10’s air pollution levels in New Delhi have decreased by 44% on the first day of quarantine restrictions.
