THROUGH COMPUTER FAILURE IN LONDON CANCELLED ABOVE 200 FLIGHTS
More than 200 flights that were scheduled to arrive or depart Heathrow on Sunday and Monday were canceled due to a failure in the passenger and baggage check-in system.
The crash at London Airport affected all four terminals. Due to a failure, British Airways announced the cancellation of 90 scheduled flights on Monday, mainly domestic and European. Passengers are advised to closely monitor their departures and contact their airline representatives to resolve any issues that may arise.
In recent days, several dozen flights to Heathrow have been canceled due to the Dennis storm that hit England and Wales over the weekend. Due to adverse weather conditions, departures were canceled at Gatwick and Luton metropolitan airports as well as Bristol airport.
