POLAND DESIGNER MAKES OFFLINE CHAIR THAT BLOCK ACCESS TO NETWORK
Polish designer Agatha Nowak has created an armchair that blocks internet connectivity on all devices in the seat.
Thus, the designer wants to help relax people who are addicted to smartphones. Inside the chair is a small offline pocket that blocks Wi-Fi and cellular signals from all devices within the chair.
The designer’s armchair was pushed by statistics, according to which, on average, people spent more than 2 hours a day on their phones and social networks. With the help of a chair, she aims to create a “quiet and cozy place” for digital detox.
