IN THE LIST OF US TRADE PARTNERS FIND A IMAGINE COUNTRY FROM MARVEL
The US Treasury Department has an agricultural tariff search service for countries that have concluded free trade agreements with the US.
Until recently, Wakanda, the fictional African kingdom in the Marvel comic book run by the Black Panther superhero, was on the list. The first Wakandu on the ministry’s website was spotted by New York programmer Francis Tseng, who was looking for agricultural tariff information for his research work.
Wakanda appeared on the US trading partner list after June 10, 2019. The Ministry of Agriculture explained that the fictitious country was added to the list as part of a recent testing of the tariff search service, and then forgot to delete it. Later Wakanda disappeared from the list.
