Formlabs, Massachusetts, USA, has created a 3D printer for denture printing.

The design was named Form 3b. The company uses stereolithography in 3D printing – when ultraviolet lasers irradiate a special liquid resin, which makes it solid and takes the required shape.

The company has opened a division called Formlabs Dentel, which will create new materials for this printer. He can already print dentures, crowns, bridges and other materials for dentistry.

The cost of a complete denture kit is $ 10 compared to the $ 50 that a traditional denture costs.
