One of the Ukrainian operators has connected the city of Chernobyl to high-speed Internet.

In the exclusion zone, 4G internet also appeared near the complex of the nuclear power plant (Shelter facility). Thus, shelter staff and numerous tourists who want to get into the exclusion zone can use high-speed mobile Internet using LTE technology.

Also, in the near future 4G communication will appear at the main checkpoint at the entrance to the Chernobyl zone in the village of Dzyatky.

In 2019, the exclusion zone broke the tourist record. During the 8 months of 2019, a record number of tourists visited Chornobyl – 74 671 people.
