State-owned PrivatBank has launched FacePay24 technology, which will allow bank customers to pay at stores using biometric data, including customer facial images.

The new technology will be available to Visa cardholders who have partnered to develop and implement a new payment method. In order to pay at the store with your face, you need to install updated “Privat24” and make 3 selfies from different angles, following the instructions of the application. The bank then connects the biometric data to the Visa card.

You can now make payments at four HOP HEY stores in the Dnipro. To do this, simply look into the camera on the tablet next to the cash register.
