So far, these are relatively simple batches of shock, but the result is already quite acceptable. Such a digital drummer only needs to download a song and he will create a rhythm of percussion instruments for that.

To train their artificial intelligence, researchers have compiled a database of 665 tracks in the genres of pop, rock, electronics. After training, artificial intelligence was able to generate percussion templates and their transitions independently.

The developers say the results are far from perfect because of the rigidity of their model. However, they say that the party-created drum machines were very close to the ones used in the training set of tracks.
