IN JAPAN MADE A CAMERA WHICH, BY A KILOMETER, DEFINES THE LICENSE PLATE

Fujifilm has developed an SX800 surveillance camera with 40x optical zoom, designed to provide security at international frontiers and large commercial sites.

The camera is equipped with a built-in lens with a focal length of 35 mm, equivalent to 20 to 800 mm, and an additional digital zoom. This gives the SX800 a full equivalent focal length of 1000 mm, which is enough to focus on the license plate of the car at a distance of 1 km.

The camera has a fast autofocus that can focus in just 0.3 seconds, optical image stabilization and image processing that can reduce the effects of fog and thermal fog. The camera also supports ISO levels up to 819200 for shooting at night.
