In Uzhgorod National University, the invention of disposable corn dishes was won at the startup competition.

The authors of the project – a student of the engineering faculty Ivan Zub and a post-graduate student of the Department of Therapy and Family Medicine Taras Gryadil proposed an effective method for the production of environmental products, namely disposable tableware made from corn leaves, cereal stems and food industry waste.

“Products from the plant mass can be used to make disposable dishes instead of plastics, which is known to accumulate massively in the environment and turned into a worldwide problem”, – the developers emphasize.
