FIRST MCDONALD’S ON SOLAR ENERGY OPEN IN UKRAINE
In Kiev, Sofievska Borshchagovka village, the first McDonald’s fast food establishment in Ukraine was opened. It partially work on solar energy.
On the roof of the establishment were placed 100 solar panels, which will save about 25% of electricity in the sunny period of the year. The McDonald’s Hall is 400 square meters, designed for 69 visitors, and the summer terrace is for 170 visitors. It has self-service terminals and table maintenance.
“The first McDonald’s in Ukraine, which will partially work on solar energy, has begun its work. It is also the first network restaurant located on the territory of the KLO filling complex, – the press service of the company said.
The McDonald’s restaurants chain in Ukraine serves around 350,000 visitors every day. The staff has about 7,500 employees.
