Artificial intelligence will be able to predict which book will become the bestseller on Amazon only 15 days after its publication.

The development of the neural network, which analyzed the behavior of readers on the Goodreads platform, was attended by scientists from the Northwestern University, engineers from Microsoft’s research unit in India and the Indian Technological Institute in Kharagpur.

The developers analyzed the collective behavior of readers of Goodreads users, and then they studied the features of the books that became bestsellers.

After collecting data on bestsellers, the neural network was able to predict future hits by 88.72%, which is more by 16.4% than traditional methods.
