NEW YORK LIBRARY PUBLISH ROMANS IN STORIES
The New York Public Library, along with the Mother Advertising Agency, launched a project called Insta Novels, which plans to publish novels in Instagram Stories.
The library will translate literary works into animated digital novels and spread them to the social network. With this project, the library wants to attract the attention of young people to literary classics and acquaint subscribers with the main subjects and motifs of classical works.
Some pages will not even use the text, you can simply flip through it by looking at how the characters move around the screen.
The first translated work was the book “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. Also, in the coming months, with the help of Instagram Stories, they plan to transfer “Transformation” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman and “Yellow Wallpapers” by Franz Kafka.
