GOOGLE HAS SERIOUSLY MADE THE QUALITY OF THE ANDROID APPLICATIONS
Following the announcement of the refusal to support 32-bit applications in future versions of Android, Google decided to tighten the rules for developers to update their applications on time. The search giant wants all apps in Google Play to be guaranteed to be optimized for the latest upcoming version of the “green robot” to improve user safety.
From the second half of 2018, Google Play will require new applications and updates for existing apps to target top Android APIs. The rule will come into force for new content from August 2018 to update existing applications since November 2018. This is to ensure that software is created based on the latest APIs optimized for security and productivity.
In addition, starting in 2018, Google Play will automatically add the metadata needed to validate the app’s APKs in all applications. This is necessary in order to protect users from counterfeit applications from the network that are masked under the guise of popular games, etc.
