The social network Facebook may soon replace the traditional introduction of the code from the picture to the identity of the user in the village, according to the publication PhoneArena.
Many noticed that sometimes when logging in to Facebook, the social network asks for a photo that clearly shows the face of the user. The recognition system promises to delete the image after the identification is successful.

According to representatives of Facebook, such measures are introduced to limit suspicious activity and protect user data. A similar request may appear when adding too many friends, setting up payments or creating ads. Celphy is much more reliable than simple code pictures and protects personal information from third parties.

Photos are not the only way to identify Facebook. However, it is still unclear what actions will be considered suspicious and how often users will have to photograph their own face. Employees of the social network did not answer the question, will the innovations become mandatory.

The publication notes that such changes impede the use of social networking services and may result in a significant decrease in the number of active users.
