The National Bank plans to open its own online store for selling coins. This was reported by Director of the Information Technologies Department of the NBU Volodymyr Nagornyuk.

The store will integrate into the mobile application “Coins of Ukraine” from the NBU, which is already available for free download for smartphones running on iOS and Android.

“The new application will give the user access to the complete directory of Ukrainian coins issued by the central bank. In addition, it provides an opportunity to quickly track coin balances on the online-order site of the National Bank by region.

The mobile application, which is equipped with a search engine by the name of the coin, its series and metal, allows you to view both technical information and image, description of each coin, etc. In addition, it always displays the full and up-to-date data: as soon as the coin is issued, it is automatically displayed in the application, that is, there is no need to update its version.
