Now all Ukrainians will finally be able to buy games in the national currency. At the same time, all available dollar money on the Steam wallet was converted into hryvnia.

Since the first hearings about the expansion of Steam localization and the introduction of support for the Ukrainian hryvnia to pay for purchases at the store, users of the website have been actively discussing possible price reductions for games available in the store. Indeed, some publishers, having received more freedom, gave the users a nice gift and lowered their prices.

For example, the traffic fever cost less from 429 to 287 hryvnias, this war of mine can now be bought five times cheaper – 55 hryvnia instead of the former 279 hryvnia. The new Assassin’s Creed Origins adventure game is priced at 930 hryvnias, while its American price is $ 60.

But not all developers have made any changes. In this regard, some AAA-class games can not be bought at all. Among such games was a shooter called Call of Duty: WWII. On the game page there is no corresponding button to make a game purchase. However, the administration Steam warns that in connection with the transition to the hryvnia, some goods may be unavailable until they indicate a price in the new currency for them.
