Apple began production of serials that will be released in 2018.

The first project has not yet received the official name. It is known that he will be filmed on the basis of a book by former CNN journalist Brian Stelter Top Of The Morning, about morning TV shows on NBC and ABC (Today and Good Morning America). The series will feature Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and the latter will be the producer of the series. The executive producer of the project is Jay Carson, who previously worked on the “Card House”.

The second project will be the series “Amazing Stories”, starring Steven Spielberg in the 1980s. Apple plans to release a new version of the series. The WSJ publication in early October 2017 reported that Spielberg could be the executive producer.

In 2018, Apple plans to spend one billion dollars on the creation of 10 own TV series. In 2017 the company released the new season of the Carpool Karaoke show and the first season of the reality show “Planet of the Apps”.
