8000 CCTV cameras should be available soon on the streets of Kyiv. The decision taken by the Mayor Vitali Klitschko, it should reduce the criminal situation in the city.

In connection with the fighting in the east a large number of unregistered firearms appeared in citizens. Assuming that the criminal situation will worsen in Kiev, the city authorities decided to increase funding for the program “Safe capital” and install the first 4000 cameras.
Note that under this program, Kyiv will be covered surveillance system for two years.
