Samsung plans to release a smartphone without frames
Samsung has filed a patent at the World Intellectual Property Organization describing a completely frivolous smartphone. The document says that users increasingly prefer larger gadgets, so the company is considering creating a device that has the entire front side of the screen. For this, the manufacturer needs to solve a number of constructive issues, for example, the location of the antenna without degradation of the signal quality.
Judging by the images presented, Samsung intends to continue using curved edges. Moreover, the company can begin to bend the screens not only on the sides, but also from the top and bottom.
Samsung needs to solve the issue of placing the standard components on the front side. One option indicates that the front camera may be below the screen. When not in use, the module will not be visible, but when needed, the area will become transparent.
Expect a completely frameless smartphone next year is not worth it. Maybe Samsung will make such a Galaxy S anniversary.
