LG Display has installed transparent OLED displays in Chinese subway cars instead of windows.

Screens acting as information boards have appeared on the updated trains in Beijing and Shenzhen. The displays show passengers information about the trip – the scheme of the subway, the time of arrival at the station, the message of the driver and dispatcher, as well as news and weather forecast.

Together with railway manufacturers and subway management, LG Display is going to equip similar transparent screens for trains at major subway stations in Chinese cities and other countries.
