IN THE USA THE 3D PRINTER HAS PRINTED THE LARGEST SUBJECT IN HISTORY
In the United States, a ship weighing 2.2 tons was printed on a 3D printer.
This is the largest object ever printed. The experiment took place at the Center for Advanced Design at the University of Maine. Initially, the engineers developed the largest prototype of the 3D polymer printer, and then printed ship. Its length was almost seven meters.
However, this is not beyond what a printer can do. It is capable of printing objects up to 30 meters long, up to 6.7 meters wide and up to three meters high. Engineers say they want to continue making plastic and wood ships. It took 72 hours to print the record ship.
