IN THE USA PROPOSED TEENS UNTIL 21 TO PROHIBIT USING SMARTPHONES

The state of Vermont is considering a bill that bans young people from using smartphones until they are 21 years old.

The bill was introduced by Democrat Senator John Rogers, and he believes that people under 21 are not mature enough to safely own and use a cellphone. As an argument, the document cites the use of mobile phones as one of the leading causes of teenage death in the United States.

The bill states that people under 21 are still considered to be under-matured in some aspects. They are not allowed to own guns, smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. As a punishment, the bill provides for up to one year in prison and a fine of one thousand dollars.
