In mobile applications for messenger WhatsApp on iOS and Android platforms a new function has been activated. It’s group audio and video calls.

The launch of this feature was announced by the company on May. But in full-fledged mode the group connection has started working only now. In one conversation can communicate with up to four users at a time.

Developers and engineers of WhatsApp assure users that the transfer of audio and video is optimized for a different quality of mobile networks. Group calls go through the ultimate encryption, like messages and conversations in WhatsApp.

In order to create a group conversation, you need to call one of the users and then click on the “plus” icon in the upper right corner and add other participants.
