GOOGLE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE LEARNED TO UNDERSTANDING LANGUAGE

Google is committed to making speech recognition systems accessible to everyone, including those who suffer from impaired speech or speak poor English.

The training model was supplemented by the speech of patients with ALS and seplas with a strong emphasis. People with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) often have problems with diction. This complicates not only communication but also the use of language recognition systems, which are typically taught by healthy people. Similar difficulties are experienced by people who speak English with a strong accent.

Project Euphonia, developed by Google experts, can help these people. To set up a standard algorithm for dealing with “problematic” users, the researchers supplemented the datasets with a small sample representing people with ALS and accents.
