PAPER BRACELET SAVE FROM THE ULTRAPHIOLET

Some people are obliged to monitor how much UV they receive on a daily basis, given their specifics of the skin and the body. For this purpose, the development team from the Australian Technical University created an accessory that shows the degree of absorbed ultraviolet light.

The pulp is printed on a 3D printer using a special phosphomolybdic acid.

The bracelet functions as follows – while on hand, it monitors the level of ultraviolet that it absorbs. Four smiling emoticons on it denote the degree of acceptance of the maximum level of ultraviolet radiation – 25, 50, 75 and 100% respectively.

Excessive amounts of ultraviolet radiation can lead to a person’s increased risk of skin cancer, burns and other unpleasant thing.
